Burim Myftiu is an Albanian-American Fine Art Photographer. He specialized Photography in New York, NYIP. Co-founder of PACK - Photo Arts Collective of Kosova, organizer and Director of DOKUFEST - International Documentary and Short Film Festival. Curator of :"Gjon Mili Award-2004" - International photography Contest in National Art Gallery in Prishtinė, Kosova, DOKUFOTO 2003, 2004 and 2005 International Festival of Documentary Photography in Prizren, Kosova. His work is presented in several individual photography exhibitions in USA and Kosova. Presently he is Comercial and Documentary Photographer at the same time he is Photography Editor. He teaches photography classes and workshops and doing curatorial work. Participated in Juries of Film Festivals and juried in photography contests. Founder of "Kosova Images"-Photography Agency. Serving as a regional Liaison Officer of FIAP - Federation International de l'Art photographique. He resides and works in Oakville, CT, USA. |
